Job description

The Training Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting the effective delivery of high-quality training and development initiatives across the organisation. This role is responsible for the efficient and accurate administration of all training activities, ensuring that all staff receive the necessary training to meet regulatory requirements, professional standards, and organisational objectives, ultimately contributing to the provision of excellent care.

Hours: 37 hours per week. Monday-Friday (8.30am-4.30pm)

Responsibilities include:

  1. Providing administrative support to learners, including responding to queries, providing information on courses, and assisting with technical issues related to training platforms.
  2. Inputting and maintaining accurate training data within the LMS/database, including course details, delegate information, completion rates, and feedback.
  3. Acting as a central point of contact for all training-related enquiries.
  4. Ensuring all training materials are current, accurate, and reflect organisational policies and best practices in health and social care.
  5. Assisting with data analysis.
  6. Preparing, collating, and distributing training materials, handouts, presentations, and certificates.
  7. Assisting the Training Manager in planning, scheduling, and coordinating internal and external training courses, workshops, and events.
  8. Maintaining an organised filing system.

Essential skills required:

  • Proficient knowledge of relevant IT systems (including Microsoft packages).
  • Ability to manage own workload and be proactive.
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to continuous learning.
  • Understanding of Learning Management Systems.
  • Experience working in an office environment within health and social care.
