The Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Multi-Trade Apprenticeship Trainer to join our team.

The successful candidate will train, support, and mentor a range of learners pursuing apprenticeship programmes in multi-trade disciplines such as joinery, brickwork, and plumbing.

You will help learners develop essential skills, build comprehensive portfolios, and successfully complete their End Point Assessments.

Main Duties for this role include

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging training sessions across multiple trades including joinery, brickwork, and plumbing.
  • Mentor and support apprentices through their learning journey, both in the classroom and the workplace.
  • Guide learners in compiling evidence for their apprenticeship portfolios.
  • Conduct regular progress reviews with learners and their employers.
  • Ensure workplace environments are safe and conducive to learning.
  • Prepare learners thoroughly for their End Point Assessments.
  • Build strong relationships with employers to support learner success and identify new apprenticeship opportunities.
  • Promote the value of apprenticeships to employers and help expand our training network.
  • Manage own workload and be able to work on own initiative
  • Take personal and professional responsibility for keeping up-to-date with latest industry sector skills.
  • Undertake all aspects of the post in accordance with the Colleges Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding and Health and Safety policies and schemes
  • Comply with the Colleges Data Protection policy in relation to the collection, use, storage and disposal of personal and/or sensitive data.
  • Undertake any other duties as may reasonably be expected commensurate with grade, both within and, where required, external to the College.
