Trainer (Information Technology and Creative Design)

Contract Type: Permanent

Department: Alliance People Department

Location: Police Headquarters, Exeter

Type of Working Arrangement: Hybrid Worker

A Hybrid Worker is an employee whose role can be performed remotely from a variety of alternative locations including force premises, partner organisation premises or a member of staff's home.

This role will require the post holder to travel to alternative locations on an ad hoc basis to undertake the role; travel expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with force policy.

Grade Scale: F

Advertised Internally / Externally: Internal and External Recruitment

Salary: Starts at £33,264 rising by yearly increments to a maximum of £38,754 per annum. The above salary is based on a full time (37 hour) salary. If you are successful in a part time role this will be pro-rata'd to reflect your working hours.

Please note: Exceptions to starting salary may apply if you are an existing Police Staff employee substantively posted to a role at the same grade.

We welcome applications from individuals wishing to work on a part-time basis and are willing to consider flexible working patterns subject to business need.

The IT Training Team provides training on operational IT Systems to police staff and officers mainly at Middlemoor but also around the force area as required. Training is currently classroom-based, but there are plans to deliver some of our less complex courses online.

The successful applicant must be able to learn new IT systems quickly, be a great team player, and be able to be flexible when schedules change at short notice.
