Trainer in Construction North West (Remote with Travel) £30,000 – £35,000 (plus company vehicle & 30 days holiday)

Job

As a Trainer in Construction (Property Maintenance), you will:

  • Deliver and assess apprenticeship standards in Property Maintenance
  • Support learners remotely and through workplace visits, ensuring high-quality teaching and training
  • Prepare apprentices for their End Point Assessment with engaging, structured delivery
  • Embed safeguarding, equality, and health & safety into all sessions
  • Work collaboratively with learners, employers, and internal teams to ensure timely progression and success
  • Contribute to developing high-quality learning resources and curriculum content

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Extensive industry experience in the Property Maintenance / Construction sector
  • A recognised teaching qualification (CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE or equivalent)
  • A recognised assessor qualification (TAQA, A1, D32/D33 or equivalent)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire learners
  • Flexibility to travel across the North West with a valid driving licence

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Experience delivering the Property Maintenance Operative Standard
  • Knowledge of Ofsted, ESFA and EPAO requirements
  • Experience delivering Functional Skills (Maths, English, ICT)
