Our premium automotive client is recruiting for a Trainer - Engineering Delivery role in Warwickshire. This is a hybrid position on an 8-month contract (potential for renewal), paying £34/hr (Inside IR35).

The Opportunity

The Engineering Delivery Platform (EDP) aims to transform how the business delivers core activities from idea to end-of-life, focusing on value and process-driven approaches. The Trainer / Change Coordinator will be responsible for delivering process re-engineering change through training content creation and delivery, measuring learning and competency, and supporting change management efforts.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all engineering staff are trained according to their roles and knowledge is kept current.
  • Maintain and update training materials, managing version control.
  • Create professional training materials adhering to standards.
  • Manage training schedules to ensure timely attendance.
  • Develop and administer tests to assess understanding.
  • Provide post-training support, including clinics and 1:1 sessions on specific topics.
  • Support full adoption of new processes and methods, managing change control and communication.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and process owners to support business-as-usual operations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business administration, IT, or related field, or relevant experience.
  • Experience in training development and classroom delivery, preferably with a process focus.
  • Strong project coordination, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Understanding of change management principles and adoption strategies.
  • Proficiency in creating engaging communication materials.
  • Analytical skills for issue identification and problem-solving.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
