A legal services provider in Bristol is seeking a Landlord & Tenant Law / Employment Law Trainer to enhance the skills of Legal Advisors. In this role, you will deliver training both in-person and online, focusing on improving customer service and legal expertise. The position offers flexibility through a hybrid work model, requiring some travel to a South Wales office. Applicants should have strong legal knowledge in landlord and tenant or employment law and experience in coaching or training.

About the role:
In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for delivering Landlord & Tenant Law / Employment Law training to a team of employees (Legal Advisors) who work in our Legal Advice service, across our offices in Bristol and Bedwas, South Wales. This team sits on our front line, and they provide a professional, telephone-based legal advice service to both our commercial and personal customers.
Your main focus will be to support the delivery and facilitation of our Landlord & Tenant Law / Employment Law training agenda, both face-to-face and online, across the department. You’ll also assist our Legal Advice Team Leaders by helping them to support, coach and mentor new and existing Legal Advisors, as well as providing technical expertise and guidance.
Key responsibilities will include:
You’ll play a key role in ensuring that our Legal Advisors provide exceptionally high levels of customer service via telephone and other digital channels and guide them to deliver a competitive and productive Legal Advice service, where great customer outcomes are at the heart of everything we do.
This is a hybrid role – ideally 3 days a week in our Bristol office. Also required, will be occasional travel to our Bedwas office in South Wales (2-3 times a month). The role canbe full-time or part-time (minimum 4 days a week, or the equivalent hours).
We are looking for someone with a very strong background in (and technical knowledge of) Landlord & Tenant Law OR Employment Law (essential), and some previous experience in training, development and coaching.Ideally, you'll also have some previous people management experience, and you'll be genuinely passionate about developing people, particularly more junior team members.You'll demonstrate sound knowledge of improving customer experience to ensure good customer outcomes, and you'll be exceptionally customer focused yourself. You'll also be able to show elevated levels of empathy and the ability to connect and build rapport with a wide range of colleagues, stakeholders, and customers.As a large part of this role will be facilitation of training, you'll need to be a confident, articulate and engaging communicator at all levels, with a friendly, open, positive and encouraging style and approach.
