Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Trainer Assessor to join our award-winning team at Taunton College. The successful candidate will join our Engineering and Automotive department work based learning team to deliver outstanding training and assessment which supports learners to achieve timely success.

Working with some of the largest employers across the region including Halfords, as well as numerous local SMEs, the post holder will join us at an exciting time as we support our employer partners to build the workforce they need for the future.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver training and assessment to support learners to achieve timely success.
  • Develop strong employer engagement to create effective business-to-business relationships that enhance the learner journey.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Engineering and Automotive department to support work-based learning.
  • Contribute to learner progression and ensure learners are prepared for the next stage of their career journey.
  • Support curriculum delivery in Autocare and related pathways, including Accident Repair Technician and Level 3 Maintenance and Repair Light Vehicle where applicable.
Qualifications
  • Experience of working in the automotive sector.
  • Proactive, enthusiastic and possess strong employer engagement skills to develop effective business-to-business relationships.
  • Experience of delivering training and a relevant assessment qualification is desirable but not essential.
