Fulbridge Social Care is recruiting Experienced and Trainee Residential Youth Workers to join our casual team. The roles involve working in children’s residential homes and Independent Living settings. We are seeking flexible, reliable, and interactive individuals eager to work in a specialist environment where full training and qualifications are provided.

The position involves providing security, guidance, interaction, and support to young people with challenging behaviors and complex needs in residential or independent living settings. The goal is to create an environment that caters to the young person’s intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional needs.

You will work with young people aged 11 to 18 who are in the care system for various reasons and have diverse disorders, behaviors, and needs. Therefore, confidence, patience, and the right skill set are essential to make a positive impact on their lives.

As part of your role, you will support young people throughout the day with tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, education, and shopping. Interaction with professionals like Social Workers, Probation Officers, and Police Officers will also be required, including supporting young people in environments like classrooms, courts, and police stations.

A valid driving license is essential, as you will need to drive the unit car and transport young people to destinations such as family contacts, school, and social activities.

Please note that an enhanced DBS check and successful completion of one of our induction programs are required before placements are offered.

  • Ensure health and safety for yourself and others.
  • Undertake additional duties relevant to the role.
