Trainee Workshop Engineer (Forklift Assembly and PDI Technician/Engineer)

Location: Basingstoke

Salary: GBP 29,000 - GBP 34,500 (Base) + 6% Employer/4% Employee Pension + Overtime at Time 1.5 and 2.0 + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Life Assurance + Discount Benefits Scheme + Uniform + Training

Working Hours: 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday

We are offering a Trainee Workshop Engineer role in a highly successful and international manufacturer of materials handling equipment, providing full training. This role is ideal for individuals seeking a team-based culture with opportunities for training and progression.

Requirements include assembly/fitting experience with mechanical equipment.

The role involves working within a team of 12 engineers, assembling, building, and modifying forklift trucks, and performing PDIs to high standards to ensure quality.

The Trainee Workshop Engineer Role includes:

  2. Occasional service and repair work
  3. Working as part of a team of 12

Person Specification:
