Job summary

Bradley Environmental Consultants is recruiting Trainee Water Hygiene Technicians to support our Legionella/water hygiene team across sites nationwide. The role is field-based with remote working options and full training provided.

You will perform routine monitoring, assist with disinfection, and maintain records in line with L8/HSG274. A full UK driving licence is essential and there are strong career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• No previous asbestos experience required; full training provided.
• Good written and verbal communication skills for record-keeping and liaising with clients.
• Willingness to work at height, in confined spaces and in plant rooms (training provided).
• Full, clean UK driving licence (essential).

Responsibilities

• Carrying out routine water hygiene monitoring tasks, including temperature checks and flushing of little-used outlets.
• Identify and report deficiencies or non-compliance on client water systems.
• Maintain accurate records and logbooks per L8/HSG274, on-site and in reporting systems.
• Assist with chlorination and disinfection procedures.
• Ensure all work follows site health and safety procedures and risk assessments.
• Travel to client sites across a wide geographical area.
• Complete paperwork, job sheets and compliance documentation on time.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional client relationships.
