Job description

The CAN Group of companies are leading providers in Engineering, Integrity, Inspection and Maintenance solutions to the energy industry worldwide.

We are currently looking to recruit a Trainee / Warehouse Operative for a development role in our Warehouse department within our Aberdeen Headquarters.

This role is an onshore full-time position working Monday to Friday; overtime may be required.

  • Driving duties
  • General labouring
  • Mobilisation/Demobilisation of equipment to and from worksites
  • Inspection and maintenance of company equipment
  • Equipment recertification
  • Receipt of deliveries

Candidates should possess the following skills:

Essential

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be highly motivated, organized, reliable and willing to learn
  • Hold GCSE/ Standard grade/ equivalent passes in English Language and Maths
  • Full UK Drivers Licence essential

Desirable

  • Previous warehouse experience preferred
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Dangerous Goods Awareness preferred
  • Experience in PPE inspections advantageous
  • Knowledge of Non-Destructive equipment advantageous
  • Knowledge of Portable Appliance Testing and HAVS Testing advantageous
  • Basic Radiation Protection advantageous

Candidates should live within commuting distance of CAN’s Aberdeen Office and hold a full UK Driving Licence.
