Trainee Mobile Test Technician

Location: Reading

As a Trainee Ventilation Technician, you will join a specialist filtration testing business working with prestigious clients across the country, mainly in the pharmaceutical and manufacturing industries.

This role is suitable if you are practical and hands-on. You should be physically fit and comfortable climbing ladders. Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential, as you will travel and work at various client sites, representing the business. Clear communication and a willingness to learn are key. You will work to high standards and take pride in your work.

The responsibilities of the Trainee Test Technician include:

• Visiting client sites to perform maintenance and testing according to PPM schedules
• Working with equipment such as Clean Rooms, Containment Facilities, Cabinets, Fume Cupboards, Clean Air Devices, and Air Handling Equipment
• Inspecting, checking, and validating air filtration systems to ensure regulatory compliance
• Potentially working in confined spaces, wearing protective clothing, and following strict security protocols
• Traveling nationwide and occasionally working away from home, including weekends, with schedules provided in advance

To qualify for this role, you should:

• Have good numerical skills and the ability to learn calculations and conversion rates
• Possess a full driving license (company vehicle provided)
• Pass a standard DBS/CRB check, with potential for future security checks
