Adler & Allan Ltd is seeking a motivated Trainee/Junior Utility Surveyor to join our team. We offer extensive on‑the‑job training and a clear path to develop a career in utility surveying.

You will work outdoors on a variety of sites, learn to identify underground utilities, and support survey projects with accuracy and safety. The role suits someone with a practical mindset, good attention to detail, and a willingness to travel across the UK; basic IT skills and a full UK driving licence are

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Willing and able to travel UK with overnight stays.
• No prior surveying experience required; full training provided.
• Basic IT skills are expected.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Positive attitude towards health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist with utility surveying activities on site under supervision.
• Learn to locate underground utilities using specialist equipment.
• Collect and record survey data accurately.
• Support delivery of survey projects across various sites.
• Maintain survey equipment and ensure correct usage.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to complete surveys efficiently.
