Job summary

Adler and Allan invites applications for a Trainee/Junior Utility Surveyor. Full training will be provided; you will assist on-site, identify utilities with specialist gear, collect data, and support projects. You’ll work with a team across diverse sites, maintaining equipment and following safety practices.

This is ideal for someone starting in surveying, with a practical mindset and a keen interest in developing skills in utility surveying across the UK.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Reliable, punctual and willing to learn.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather and on active sites.
• Basic IT skills and ability to travel UK with overnight stays.
• Willing to learn across surveying disciplines; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with utility surveying on site under supervision.
• Learn to locate underground utilities using specialist equipment.
• Collect and record survey data accurately.
• Support delivery of survey projects across sites.
• Maintain survey equipment and ensure proper use.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to complete surveys efficiently.
