Job description

Here at the Mick George Group, we are looking for a Trainee Tyre Fitter to join the team at our Ellington site.

You will not require any previous industry experience, but must have a willingness and eagerness to learn, with a positive can-do attitude.

Training will include:

  1. All aspects of Tyre Fitting - including Car, Commercial, Agricultural, and Earthmover Tyres
  2. IRTEC Qualification
  3. Tyre and Vehicle Regulations
  4. Tyre Maintenance, Regrooving, Repairs
  5. Roadside Assistance
  6. Fleet Maintenance and Inspections
  7. Wheel Changing Procedures
  8. Health and Safety
  9. Manual Handling

Requirements:

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Good numerical skills
  • Ability to work within a physically demanding role
  • Full UK Driving License
