Protyre Autocare is a fast-growing national automotive company offering superb training and development opportunities. We are currently seeking a Trainee Truck Tyre Technician to join our growing team.

Looking for either a change in career or just starting out? Do you have a passion for cars? We have the perfect opportunity for you, with no experience necessary, just a true passion for the automotive sector. Full in-house training is provided. All you need is a Full UK Driving Licence and be at least 21 years old for insurance purposes.

Our Trainee Truck Tyre Technicians are responsible for competent tyre fitting and repairs, ensuring work is completed on commercial vehicles safely and to a high standard while delivering excellent customer service.

• Location: Based in Penrith, callouts as required
• Essential: Full UK Driving Licence and be at least 21 years old for insurance purposes

About the role:

• Thorough training will be provided to the highest standard across the industry, which includes accreditation from the NTDA to ensure you have full competency within the role.
• Working in a safe manner and always comply with health & safety regulations.
• Ensuring you do not work on any product or service that you have not been assessed as competent in or trained to conduct.
• To maintain accurate documentation in line with company policies and procedures
• Making customers and/or management aware of any additional faults found on the customer's vehicle.
