Reporting to the Contract Manager, the Trainee Traffic Maintenance Engineer will join a skilled Traffic Signals team in Oxfordshire. Due to growth and customer demand, we are expanding our Traffic team in this area.
What you’ll do:
As a Trainee Traffic Maintenance Engineer, you will collaborate with experienced Traffic Engineers to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and test Traffic Signals / Traffic Lights and related electrical equipment around Oxfordshire.
Training combines on-the-job learning with opportunities to achieve an NVQ in Electrical Installations and sector-specific certifications such as ECS and NHSS Chapter 8.
Who you are:
You have an interest in troubleshooting, fixing, testing, and maintaining electrical equipment, with some exposure to outdoor lighting, CCTV, controllers, detection boxes, telecommunications, or radio equipment, or relevant college courses/diplomas.
