Trainee Test Engineer

Cambridgeshire (Commutable from: Ely, Huntingdon, St Neots, Newmarket, Royston, Haverhill, Bedford)

Are you from an engineering or technical background and looking to take your first step into a hands-on, specialist testing role with full training and clear routes for progression?

On offer is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established engineering company involved in large-scale testing and research projects across the UK and beyond. This is a permanent, Monday to Friday position offering long-term stability and development.

The company has built an outstanding reputation for quality and precision, supplying technical testing services to major clients across the construction and engineering sectors including The Shard and O2 Arena. Due to continued growth, they're looking to add a motivated Trainee Engineer to their expanding team.

In this role, you'll support the engineering team with test preparation, installation work, and technical measurements. You'll receive hands-on mentoring, structured training, and the opportunity to progress to a full Test Engineer.

The Role:
  • Assisting with tests and research
  • Measuring, checking, and recording data accurately
  • Monday to Friday Days based Role

  • Engineering or technical background (apprenticeship or similar)
  • Based within commutable distance of Cambridgeshire
