Job summary

National Windscreens in Crawley is seeking motivated individuals for a Trainee Technician program. You will receive high‑standard training by experienced technicians and work toward NVQ levels 2 and 3 in Automotive Glazing.

After 10 weeks of training, you will be able to work independently and travel to customer locations within your area. Full training includes ADAS calibration and EV/HEV awareness, with ongoing support to keep your skills up to date.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; highly motivated to learn and grow.
• Driving licence is essential as you will travel to customer locations.
• You should be practical and enjoy hands-on learning while delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Repair and replace windscreens and body glass and provide excellent service.
• Maintain a safe working environment for yourself, colleagues and customers.
• Work with the training team to develop skills during the Trainee Program.

What you'll be doing...

You will be a part of our Trainee Program which means:

• You will receive high standard quality training delivered by experienced and qualified trainers and technicians.
• We will work with you to achieve a nationally recognised qualification in Automotive Glazing to NVQ level 2 and 3.
• After 10 weeks of training including classroom based learning and real experience with other qualified Technicians, you will be able to work independently.
• You will receive on-going support and assistance ensuring you remain up to date with techniques and processes.
• If selected you will also receive training on Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) calibration, hybrid and electric vehicles.
• You will be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment for yourself, your colleagues and your customers.

Once trained your job will be to repair and replace windscreens and body glass, and to provide our customers with excellent service.
