Trainee Technician

Ramsgate

£25,500 to £30,000 per year, dependent on experience + Dedicated Training + Overtime + Company Benefits

Are you looking for a role within Engineering with dedicated training, development and progression within a well-established company within the aircraft sector?

On offer is an excellent opportunity for a Technician to join a multibillion turnover aircraft company, to have dedicated training & development and career options with an industry leading EASA 145 facility .

You will work in a specialist team working with a variety of metals from chrome, nickel, silver, tin and complete a variety of processes from heat treatment, non-destructive testing, nickel plating, quality checks.

Ideally you will be located in a commutable distance to Ramsgate and come from a hands on engineering role such as machine shop/precision machining.

The Role:

• Dedicated training & technical Development including but not limited to (Level 2/3 engineering qualification, 2 non destructive testing, 5s lean manufacturing processes, part 145 regulation requirements)
• Daily tasks include electroplating a variety of components from a wide selection of different aircraft platforms. Plating processes include Cadmium, Nickel, Chrome, Silver, Tin, Copper and Phosphate.
• Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm

The Person:

• Good communications skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English
