Job Description:

About the role

Join the Vision for Education National Teaching Assistant Program

Have you always dreamed of working with children, but struggled to find the experience needed to get started? Look no further! Our National Teaching Assistant Program (NTAP) is here to help you gain that essential experience. Through a series of online training modules, followed by five days of paid in-school experience, we’ll prepare you for your role as a teaching assistant. After completing the program, you’ll be fully approved in our system and ready to take on assignments in schools.

What we’re looking for:

  • A genuine passion for working in education.
  • No specific classroom or school-based experience required.
  • A commitment to completing virtual training sessions in the evenings.
  • Availability for a paid placement in a school.
  • The eagerness to start working as a Teaching Assistant upon completing the program.

What we offer:

As part of our team, you’ll enjoy:

  • Competitive daily rates paid through the PAYE system (rate depends on your experience and qualifications, discussed at registration).
  • A guaranteed pay scheme (subject to availability).
  • Opportunities to attend social and networking events.
  • Pension contributions.
  • Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to support your growth.
  • Access to a dedicated consultant.
