Vision for Education are excited to provide this opportunity to support passionate people entering the education sector with paid on-the-job experience in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Successful candidates will be placed in client schools after interview and checks, with the option to choose a specialist area (EYFS, KS1, KS2) as they develop their skills.

A comprehensive training programme will be delivered before starting placement to equip you for the Teaching Assistant role and ongoing CPD.

Qualifications

• No previous experience or qualifications required.
• Willing to complete Vision for Education's training programme and CPD.
• Willing to pay for an enhanced DBS check and Update Service registration.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in classrooms and run small group interventions.
• Assist with 1:1 support for children.
• Help monitor and support day-to-day needs of all children.
• Contribute to safeguarding and welfare processes.
