About the role

Trainee Teaching Assistant

Worthing, West Sussex

£13.68 - £14.50 per hour (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

Roles within schools will vary from supporting students on a classroom basis as well as on a 1:1 basis. You may be required to assist in the playground on duties throughout the day and help with the running of breakfast/after school clubs. You will be need to be able to work school hours which will be 8:30-3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Requirements:

The ideal Trainee Teaching Assistant will have;

• A passion for working with children
• Experience in child based work, or an academic background showing this
• The ability to build positive relationships with both staff and students
• An enthusiastic and dedicated mindset within education
• Be willing to pay for an Enhanced DBS check (£58.50) and register for the DBS Update Service (£16)
