Job summary

Vision for Education is recruiting for a Trainee Teaching Assistant to work in schools across Haverfordwest and surrounding areas. Starting as a paid placement with training, you’ll develop classroom skills through the National Teaching Assistant Programme and gain on-the-job experience in EYFS, KS1, KS2, secondary, and SEND settings.

You’ll complete safeguarding checks and training, join a supported cohort, and progress via paid placements with local schools.

About the Role

We work in partnership with local schools to provide Trainee Teaching Assistants with high-quality training alongside paid, on-the-job experience.

Following a successful interview and completion of suitability, safeguarding, and identity checks, we will support you in securing a paid placement within a school. This placement will help you develop your skills, build your confidence, and shape your identity as an educator.

You’ll also have the opportunity to explore and specialise in areas such as EYFS, KS1, KS2, secondary education, and SEND provision.

Requirements

To be considered for the National Teaching Assistant Programme, you should:
