What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting pupils in classroom groups and providing 1:1 interventions
- Helping pupils regulate their emotions and encouraging positive behaviour
- Creating an inclusive and calm environment where learners feel valued and safe
- Assisting in delivering personalised strategies that promote wellbeing and academic success
- Building strong, supportive relationships with pupils, teachers, and families
- Encouraging communication, emotional literacy, and confidence in social situations
What We're Looking For
- A real interest in working with children and young people who need extra support
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build trust with pupils
- A positive and proactive approach, with the determination to make a lasting difference
- Good communication skills and willingness to work closely within a team
- Commitment to developing a career in SEND, inclusion, or alternative provision
- Availability Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm (term-time only)
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC), or willingness to register with our support
