Teaching Personnel is offering an exciting opportunity for individuals to train as Teaching Assistants in primary schools across Cardiff, starting September 2025.
This role is ideal for those with a passion for working with children and a desire to make a difference – no prior classroom experience required!
Supporting pupils with classroom tasks, learning activities and social development
Assisting the class teacher in managing behaviour and providing a positive learning environment
Working with small groups or on a 1:1 basis to support individual learning
Helping children with additional learning needs (ALN) as needed
A genuine interest in working with children and helping them reach their full potential
Good communication and teamwork skills
Reliability, enthusiasm and a positive attitude
Experience working with children (e.g., sports coaching, volunteering, youth work) is a bonus – but not essential
A clear route into education – no prior qualifications needed
FREE access to online training and CPD opportunities (e.g., Safeguarding, Behaviour Management)
Competitive weekly pay (paid via PAYE)
Ongoing support from your dedicated Teaching Personnel consultant
Location: Cardiff
Start Date: September 2025
Hours: Full-Time (Monday–Friday, term time only)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
