Job summary

Kilnwood Vale Primary School is hosting a GLF trainee teacher programme, offering a school-based training path with a choice of fee-funded or employment-based routes. You will receive exceptional training and support while gaining hands-on experience in primary education across partner schools.

Based in Surrey, Banstead hub provides tailored pathways, with practical classroom teaching from day one and a focus on teacher development, well-being and progression within the GLF Trust.

Qualifications

• UK degree 2:2 or above in a relevant subject.
• At least 50% of degree in the subject you wish to teach for secondary courses.
• Grade C/4+ in English, Maths and Science for primary routes.
• Proof of right to work in the UK and residency in the UK/EEA for the last 3 years.
• For employment-based routes, a school contract is required.

Responsibilities

• Join GLF’s Trainee Teacher Programme and gain hands-on school experience.
• Placement at Kilnwood Vale Primary School with main and shorter placements.
• Benefit from locally delivered, school-based training and professional development.

Education

UK degree 2:2 or above

50% degree in subject for secondary

English/Math/Science grade C/4+ for primary routes

Right to work in the UK/EEA for last 3 years

Classroom teaching experience for employment-based routes
