GLF Teacher Training invites graduates to join its Trainee Teacher Programme based in Surrey, with a choice of routes from fee-funded to employment-based training. Cordwalles Junior School serves as the main placement, with additional shorter placements to support growth as an educator.

The program prioritises personalised development, supportive staff, and pathways toward Early Career Teaching within GLF’s network. Training is designed to balance workload and professional progression.

Qualifications

• A UK degree from a recognised provider.
• For Secondary courses, at least 50% of your degree will be in the subject you wish to teach.
• Degree 2:2 or above; may accept a 3rd class or ordinary degree in particular circumstances.
• Grade C/4 or above in English, Maths, and Science for Primary routes.
• Demonstrate right to work and study in the UK; resident in UK/EEA for last three years.
• Employment-based routes require classroom teaching experience and a school contract.
• Overseas qualifications require a statement of comparability.

Responsibilities

• All trainees have a main placement and a shorter 4–6-week placement at school.
• Second placement is carefully matched to travel and training needs.
