Trainee Teacher/ 1:1 Teaching Assistant- A life changing role!

This incredible setting is looking for a dedicated Trainee Teacher/ 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team and help learners achieve meaningful and beneficial outcomes through personalised learning opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Support learners to build confidence, communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and education goals. Each learner follows a bespoke learning plan, designed around their unique skills, educational needs and preferences. You will work closely with families and health & social care professionals to ensure that every learner receives the best possible support tailored to their aspirations and needs.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary: £23,000 per annum
• Hours: Term time only / Monday to Friday, 08:45am - 4:45pm

Role requirements

Training opportunity

The trainee teacher programme is an exciting opportunity for those keen to take the next steps in their education career. This is a 2 year programme, where you start as a 1:1 TA and in the 2 years receive training and support to qualify as a specialist Autism teacher.
