We are looking for a full-time Trainee Substance Misuse Recovery Worker based in Hull.

Salary range during Traineeship: £24,000. Following successful completion, the salary range will be £24,531 - £27,603.

We are a registered charity with over 40 years of experience transforming the lives of people affected by drugs and alcohol misuse.

East Riding Partnership (ERP) – a collaboration between us and another trust, with hubs in Hull, Bridlington, and Goole. It is a multidisciplinary team led by a consultant, providing community treatment services including aftercare, youth services, community rehabilitation, support for image and performance-enhancing drugs/steroids, and volunteer and peer mentor support.

This is an exciting time to work in the drug and alcohol field, with new career opportunities emerging.

This role offers the chance to join an innovative team based in Hull. You will support service users with diverse and complex needs and their families, addressing issues related to substance use including alcohol. Responsibilities include assessing needs from a person-centred, strength-based perspective. A good understanding of recovery principles and a belief in individuals’ ability to change and live in recovery are essential, along with a commitment to providing access to information and tools for a fulfilling life in recovery.

If you have relevant experience in substance misuse or Health and Social Care, and hold GCSE grade 4 or above in English and Maths or equivalent, we would like to hear from you.

During the Traineeship, the successful candidate will undertake an academic qualification and produce a portfolio demonstrating the competencies required for the Recovery Worker role.
