Job Title: Trainee Manager

Deichmann is seeking to appoint a Trainee Manager to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role offers an initial salary of £29,500 per annum.

Initially, you will be based in a store within the district. Following training, you will support and manage stores either on a planned or ad hoc basis across the surrounding area, primarily covering the Newbury and Reading stores. Therefore, the ability to drive is essential.

Ideal Candidate

This is an exciting opportunity for a successful and ambitious Team Member or Supervisor looking to progress into Store Management. You will undergo comprehensive training and development, with the potential to become a Cover Manager at the end of your training, and eventually a Store Manager of your own store.

Key Responsibilities

1. Motivate and coach the team to deliver excellent customer service.
2. Lead by example in promoting and selling shoe care products, demonstrating confidence and product knowledge.
3. Manage resource planning, including drafting rotas within budget.
4. Oversee stock management.
5. Analyze sales performance data and reports.
6. Recommend strategies to improve sales based on data analysis and customer insights.
7. Ensure company standards are maintained, including merchandising and administrative tasks.
8. Support the delivery of KPIs and meet all company standards.
9. Assist in recruitment and training of team members.
