Job Title: Trainee Manager

Deichmann has an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Manager to join our team at the Woolwich store!

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious team member or supervisor looking to progress into store management.

You will undergo first-class training and development, including managing stores on a planned and ad hoc basis in Bromley, Bexleyheath, and Lewisham, with the potential to become a Cover Manager at the end of your training, and eventually a Store Manager of your own store.

The salary is £29,000. The ideal candidate must be fully flexible in terms of travel, as you will work across various stores, and should have previous experience in retail or a related sector.

You must be able to problem-solve and think on your feet. Additionally, you should be a people person, capable of planning and coordinating resources, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Motivate and coach the team to deliver excellent customer service
  2. Lead by example in promoting and recommending shoe care products, demonstrating confidence in selling and product knowledge
  3. Manage resourcing and draft rotas within budget
  4. Handle stock management
  5. Analyze sales performance data and reports
  6. Recommend ways to improve sales based on data analysis and customer insights
  7. Ensure company standards in merchandising and administration are maintained
  8. Support the delivery of KPIs and meet company standards
  9. Assist in recruitment and training of team members
