Job summary

Finlay Jude Recruitment Ltd, on behalf of a leading utilities organisation, is hiring a Trainee Smart Meter Technician. No prior experience is required as full training, equipment and a company van will be provided to support smart water meter installations and water network surveys across the local area.

You will upload data using provided tablet/software, work Monday to Friday (40 hours), and represent the company professionally while following health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; full training provided.
• Must have a Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willing to work outdoors in all conditions.
• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Install and exchange smart water meters at customer properties.
• Undertake water network surveys and installations.
• Upload data using provided tablet and software.
• Work independently across the local area.
• Represent the company in a professional manner.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures and company standards.
