Job description

Intelligent Data: Revolutionising Transport Survey Intelligence Since 2007.

Founded in 2007, Intelligent Data is the UK's leading transport survey data provider, known for our expertise, high-quality delivery, and innovative approach. Join us and be part of a collaborative, supportive team that values learning, development, and making a real impact on transport projects nationwide.

The Role

We are looking for Trainee Site Technicians to join our expanding Site Operations Team. This is a great opportunity for individuals aged 19+ with at least one year of driving experience who want to start a career in site operations and technical fieldwork. No previous experience is required, as we provide full training and continuous support to help you succeed.

Based out of our Maidenhead HQ, this is a field-based role requiring daily travel to survey sites across the UK. You will work outdoors in all weather conditions, using a company van and the tools provided. Flexibility is key, as the role involves changing schedules, occasional weekends, and additional hours during peak periods.

Contract and Working Pattern

This role is offered on an Annualised Hours contract (averaging 37 hours per week over the year) with quarterly targets.

  • Peak periods are March to July and September to November, when longer shifts and occasional overnight stays may be required.
  • To support work-life balance, annual leave is structured so that time off during busy months is limited. However, during quieter periods, mandatory leave weeks only deduct a portion of your holiday allowance (e.g. one week off uses just two days of leave), stretching your entitlement further.
