GRAHAM is seeking a motivated Trainee Site Engineer to join our Building Division in the Midlands. You will gain hands-on experience, structured training, and mentorship while contributing to safe, high-quality construction on live projects.

The role focuses on surveying, setting out, checking drawings, planning work, and coordinating with consultants and subcontractors. A technical apprenticeship path leads to professional recognition.

Qualifications

• Currently studying Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or Construction Management or related discipline.
• Strong communication and IT skills are desirable for site coordination.
• Right to work in the UK is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to.
• Undertake surveying and setting out duties.
• Check drawings and quantities; assist in scheduling materials.
• Plan work and organise site operations to meet deadlines.
• Liaise with consultants and subcontractors as needed.
• Maintain quality records to meet requirements.
• Attend testing of materials and calibration of instruments.
• Keep a Site Diary and interact with the site team.
