Trainee Teacher - Salaried - Science - Chemistry/Physics Specialism

Are you a Graduate with a degree in Chemistry or Physics, or an unqualified Teacher who is looking to gain QTS from September?

Would you like to earn while you train to become a qualified teacher, in a thriving secondary school based in Manchester?

This is a rare opportunity to secure a salaried teacher training spot, in a forward-thinking secondary school in Manchester. The school is looking for Science Specialists to support their department from September.

Graduate Teacher Training - about the role:

  1. Join a welcoming school and deliver lessons to pupils in your subject specialism
  2. Be supported by outstanding teachers - mentoring and training provided
  3. Excellent pay rates with a salary of up to £29,000, working school hours
  4. Work 5 days per week, term time only
  5. Gain QTS over a 12/15 month training period

Graduate Trainee Teacher Science - person specification:
  1. Degree in Science
  2. Great subject knowledge
  3. A passion for education
  4. Previous tutoring or teaching experience desirable
  5. GCSE's C/4 or above in English and Maths (and a copy of the actual certificates)
  6. You must have lived in the UK for the last 3 years
  7. The ability to teach a minimum of 12 hours or a 50% timetable, sole teaching from the beginning of the programme
