Job summary

Capita Entrust is recruiting a Trainee School Business and Finance Officer to support budget monitoring and quarterly returns across Cumberland / Westmorland and Furness. You will work both onsite in schools and Trusts and remotely from home when not onsite.

Ideal candidates are locally based, have strong communication skills, IT literacy (MS Office), and a full UK driving licence. The role offers full-time hours, salary of £25,155 plus benefits.

• Local to Cumberland area with access to transport.
• IT literacy – MS Office.
• Positive and proactive approach to work.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• To work collaboratively with colleagues within Capita Entrust and the Local Authority.
• To deliver service to schools, academies, local authorities and any other customers.
• To communicate in a clear and professional manner with our customers in writing, face to face, on the phone or by electronic means.
• To establish and maintain positive professional relationships with customers and colleagues, making a positive contribution to the business, and promoting the wider interests of Entrust.
• To maintain, encourage and enforce high standards of operational excellence for the team.
