Driver Hire Edinburgh City is seeking a Trainee Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team and help us match skilled candidates with rewarding positions in the transportation and logistics sector.

Responsibilities:
  1. Learn the ropes of recruitment & sales by assisting our more senior consultants with candidate sourcing, interviewing, and client management.
  2. Develop a deep understanding of the transportation and logistics industry to effectively match candidates with suitable job opportunities.
  3. Collaborate with team members to create and post engaging job advertisements.
  4. Screen and assess candidate applications to identify the best fit for available positions.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with both clients and candidates to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  6. Assist in administrative tasks related to recruitment and compliance.

Requirements:
  1. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  2. Enthusiastic and proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  3. Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.

Hours and pay:
  1. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 0900-1700 (office based)
  2. Starting salary of £22,500 basic per annum plus uncapped bonus and on call allowance

OTE £28,000 in the first year
