Qualifications

Job description

Anderson Green Ltd is a leading privately owned Building Services Consultancy and we have a permanent vacancy and opportunity for a Trainee Revit Technician based within our Leeds Office.

The Role:

The successful candidate will provide technical support working collaboratively in a multi-discipline team consisting of Buildings Services Designers, Building Physicist and Document Controllers on a wide range of projects across numerous market sectors, delivering services from feasibility through to detailed and fully co-ordinated design for installation purposes, RIBA stages 0 to 5.

Duties will include:
  • Produce both 2D drawings and 3D models with our team of Building Services Engineers
  • Modelling and drawing co-ordinated Building Services i.e., ductwork, pipework and electrical services using REVIT MEP and AutoCAD Software
  • Revise and update models/drawings as required
  • Learn and follow BIM protocols
  • Create and amend Revit MEP Families, Objects, Tags, Annotations
  • Create legends, schedules and templates
  • Liaise with clients, professional teams, contractors and staff
Preferred Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
  • Interested and confident to ask questions
  • Organised with a flexible attitude
  • Responsible, punctual, reliable and hard-working
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Grade 4 or above (grade A-C) in Maths and English
  • Interest in the Construction Industry and Building Services
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage
