A leading television production company in Bristol is seeking a Trainee Researcher to join their BAFTA and Emmy award-winning team. The successful candidate will assist in production tasks, from casting to shoot support. Ideal candidates are organized, communicative, and passionate about television. This is a full-time role scheduled from September to December 2025, with a strong emphasis on diversity and inclusion.

Description


Plimsoll is looking for a TRAINEE RESEARCHER to work with our BAFTA and Emmy award-winning team across a new 8 part architectural series for a prominent streamer. This role is for someone with previous TV experience (e.g. runner, production assistant, or junior researcher) who is looking to take the next step up and work on a large-scale production. We particularly welcome applications from underrepresented groups.


The successful candidate will assist the team with all aspects of production, from casting to working with the team to help set up and support shoots. You will need to be organised, able to work to a schedule, and be a strong team player.


The ideal candidate is a brilliant communicator, confident on the phone and in person, and has a passion for television production.



  • Contract: September 2025 - December 2025 (approx)

  • Based: Bristol Office

  • Basis: Full time
