Are you an electrician with testing and inspection experience, seeking to advance into electrical system design? Do you aspire to lead and manage a commercial department within a leading renewable energy provider?

My client is a prominent energy efficiency specialist providing domestic energy solutions. With recent contract wins and a secure project pipeline, they are experiencing significant growth and expanding their team.

In this role, you will receive training in designing domestic and commercial renewable energy systems, primarily Solar PV. You will also undertake hands-on testing duties, working on diverse projects. This is an excellent opportunity for electricians to transition into renewable energy system design and develop a lifelong skillset, with potential for management roles in the future.

The Role:

• Design of Solar PV systems and Heat Pumps
• Conducting site surveys and feasibility studies
• Working on domestic and commercial projects (primarily domestic initially)
• Inspecting and testing electrical systems, focusing on quality and compliance
• 80% office-based, 20% fieldwork
• Providing technical advice to clients on design queries
• Assisting with DNO / Grid Application processes

The Candidate:

• Qualified electrician with testing and inspection experience, looking to move off the tools
• 18th Edition, 2391 qualifications
• Experience in a design role or seeking career growth
• Full UK Driving License
• Motivated by career development and training
