Job summary

Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Trainee Rehabilitation Engineer (Clinical Technologist) to undertake the IPEM Clinical Technologist Training Scheme. The successful applicant will be based with Warwickshire Wheelchair Service, with training placements primarily in Leamington Spa and Nuneaton, West Midlands.

Upon completion, eligibility to join the Register for Clinical Technologists is gained.

Qualifications

• Formal training pathway via IPEM Clinical Technologist Training Scheme.

Responsibilities

• The role is patient facing and requires hands-on use of hand tools to adjust and fit equipment.
• Participate in CPD and Clinical Supervision programme.
• Grow the clinical capacity of Wheelchair Services across the West Midlands.
