The Business – Trainee Recruitment Consultant

This is a really exciting opportunity for 3 driven individuals to join a high-performing recruitment agency, fully in their scale-up phase. After setting up at the start of 2024, the company have already turned over £2m in revenue and grown the company to over 15 heads. This includes hiring a Sales Director in Austin to set up their offering in the US.

They operate the GTM (go-to-market) space, meaning they work with high profile sales people, developers, and project managers from small start-ups, to huge tech organisations.

The Role – Trainee Recruitment Consultant

  • Winning new business through cold-outreach and consultative selling
  • Meeting with new clients to fully understand them as a business and their hiring requirements
  • Sourcing top talent through headhunting on networking sites, speaking with your connections, and advertising
  • Interviewing candidates, shortlisting them for your clients, and managing the whole interview process
  • Ensuring you are accurately consulting and advising your candidates and clients based on market trends and conditions
  • Negotiating the best contract on behalf of your candidate
  • Building up your network and personal brand

The Requirements – Trainee Recruitment Consultant

  • Recent graduate with a 2:1 or above in any discipline
  • Ideally you will have experience working in a sales or commercial role (internship, part-time, industrial year etc.) but we are open to other experience
  • Naturally competitive with a background in sports, debate, mooting, model UN, etc.
  • Resilient with a positive mindset and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Confident speaking with high-level stakeholders
