The role of Recruitment and Resourcing Assistant will support your development into a well-rounded recruitment expert. With support from a team of highly skilled recruiters, you will learn how to search for the best candidates, promote the Laing O'Rourke brand, and present opportunities effectively.

Responsibilities:

The role will focus on supporting the team with candidate searching, attraction/marketing, calling applicants from adverts, scheduling interviews, gathering market intelligence, and supporting the onboarding process.

• Sourcing candidates from various avenues such as job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, internal databases, and events.
• Selecting and screening suitable applicants from applications received through the careers portal and advertising.
• Interviewing candidates and assessing suitability via phone screening, face-to-face, and MS Teams calls.
• Supporting Resourcing Advisors and Managers in prioritizing positions and securing candidates for each role.
• Building long-lasting candidate relationships to create a memorable recruitment experience.
• Creating talent pools to enable faster and more proactive recruitment for hard-to-fill positions.
• Providing an excellent onboarding experience through effective communication and relationship building.
• Maintaining up-to-date administration, notes, and tracking of project resource plans.
• Assisting with administration of requisitions, candidate queries in the resourcing inbox, and general ad-hoc administrative support.
