The role is a two-year placement within our Scottish real estate team, primarily focused on telecoms, with opportunities to collaborate with real estate colleagues across the UK on nationwide projects.
Our real estate department handles all aspects of transactional and contentious commercial real estate work, including telecoms, development, investment, asset management, construction, and landlord/tenant work. Our clients include telecoms operators, property management and development companies, house builders, health trusts, government bodies (local and central), owner-occupiers, and institutions both in the UK and overseas.
With offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow, we are expanding our Scottish services, providing seamless cross-border support for our clients backed by national and international resources from across the firm.
Our Trainees appreciate our collaborative working environment, which reflects our open door policy and core principles of support, creativity, determination, and clarity. There are many networking opportunities with other Trainees and colleagues across the firm, as well as involvement in wider projects and initiatives.
The role will mainly involve Scottish real estate telecoms work, primarily transactional, with opportunities to engage in litigation. Responsibilities include landlord/tenant asset management, drafting and negotiating lease documents with team support, and managing client reporting. Prior knowledge of Scottish property law or experience in real estate, especially telecoms, is beneficial but not essential.
