Job summary

SEP Rail Services Ltd is seeking a Trainee/Junior Surveyor to join our Middlesbrough topographical/rail surveying team. This entry-level role offers comprehensive training, with opportunities to progress as you learn surveying methods and work within the railway environment.

You will support a senior Land/Rail Surveyor, learn on-the-job, and participate in weekends overtime where required. A valid UK driving license and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Age 21+
• Full UK driving licence
• Pass and maintain all Network Rail medical requirements
• Will to work away from home when required
• Available to work a certain amount of weekends for generous overtime

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of an experienced Land/Rail Surveyor
• Assist & learn in Surveying methods & the Railway environment
• Regular feedback discussions with management to help with progress
