Job summary

SEP Rail Services is seeking a Trainee/Junior Surveyor to join our Topographical/Rail Surveying team. The role offers full training and a pathway into a real career in surveying, with opportunities to learn on the job and progress over time.

You will work under an experienced Land/Rail Surveyor, assist in surveying methods, and participate in the railway environment. Regular feedback discussions with management will support your development and progression.

Qualifications

• Age 21+
• Full UK driving licence
• Pass and maintain all Network Rail medical requirements
• Will to work away from home when required
• Available to work weekends for overtime (generous)

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of an experienced Land/Rail Surveyor
• Assist and learn surveying methods and the Railway environment
• Regular feedback discussions with management to help with progress
