Job Description:

Due to continued growth, we now have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Radiographer. We are looking for a self-starter who can hit the ground running and is keen to learn on the job. You must have a keen eye for detail and be keen to build a good understanding of the Radiographic method.

Required skills and experience:

  • Manage multiple priorities with close attention to detail
  • Able to follow instructions as well as being a solutions provider
  • Able to work unaided and be a self-starter

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

You will work within the Radiographic Department and gain the knowledge, training, and experience in order to attain Level 2 qualification/certification in film and non-film techniques.

Key activities:

  • Actively participating in a training programme / apprenticeship
  • Have and pass a radiation medical assessment as part of becoming a classified worker
  • Obtaining the experience hours required prior to examinations
  • To attain a good understanding of Product Technology
  • Gain an understanding of the departments quality system
  • Gain an understanding of the department’s functional checks
  • Testing of customers parts under the guidance of Level 2/3 personnel
  • To participate in courses and complete exams at/by an approved training facility
