LNS Recruitment is seeking a motivated Trainee Quarry Worker to join our growing team. This entry role offers full training and support to start a career in quarrying, aggregates and recycling.

You will gain hands-on experience operating plant and machinery, assist with maintenance, and learn how quality recycled and primary aggregate products are produced, while following all health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• No quarrying experience required; full training provided.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Reliable, punctual and willing to learn.
• Comfortable outdoors in a physically demanding environment.
• Genuine interest in quarrying, engineering, plant or machinery.
• Team player and safety conscious.
• Willingness to develop new skills and progress within the business.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with maintenance of washplant equipment and mobile plant.
• Learning to safely operate quarrying and mobile plant machinery.
• Assisting with day-to-day operation of the quarry and processing plant.
• Learning about production of recycled and primary aggregate products.
• Carrying out general site duties and keeping the working environment clean and organised.
• Working alongside experienced team members to develop practical plant operation and engineering skills.
• Following all company health and safety procedures.
