Qualifications

• ONC/HNC/degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Basic reading of engineering drawings.
• Interest in precision engineering and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Inspect components against engineering drawings and specifications.
• Measure precision components at CNC machines, including first-offs.
• Read detailed engineering drawings featuring complex datum points and geometric tolerancing.
• Use CMM, Faro Arm and a wide range of handheld metrology equipment.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.
• Clearly communicate inspection findings to relevant team leaders.
• Develop understanding of quality and process-management tools.
